The Mystery of the 153 Fish – The Bride of Christ

Choose Life, forever more

First miraculous catch of fish – ( The Church )

According to the Gospel of Luke, on the day of this miracle, Jesus was preaching near the Lake of Genesareth (Sea of Galilee), when he saw two boats at the water’s edge. Boarding the one belonging to Simon (Peter), and moving out a little from shore, he sat and taught the people from the boat. Afterwards, he said to Peter:

“Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”[1]

Peter answered:

“Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”[1]

When they had done so, “they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break,”[1] requiring help from another boat. When Peter saw the large catch, which filled both boats almost to sinking point, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!”[1] Jesus responded “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will catch men,”[1] after which Peter and his partners James and John left everything and followed Jesus.

Second miraculous catch of fish – The Elect ( Sons Of God )

According to the Gospel of John,[5] seven of the disciples – PeterThomasNathanael, the sons of Zebedee (James and John), and two others – decided to go fishing one evening after the Resurrection of Jesus, but caught nothing that night. Early the next morning, Jesus (whom they had not recognised) called out to them from the shore:

“Friends, haven’t you any fish?”[5]

When they reply in the negative (the question in Greek uses a particle which expects the answer “No”),[10][11] Jesus responds: “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.”[5] After doing so, “they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.”[5]

Realising the identity of their advisor, the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!,”[5] at which Peter jumped into the water to meet him (an aspect of the story often illustrated in Christian art), while the remaining disciples followed in the boat, towing the net, which proved to be full of 153 large fish.[5] Jesus then cooked and ate some of the fish with the disciples.

This passage has traditionally been one of the liturgical readings following Easter, and sermons have been preached on it by Augustine of Hippo[12] and John Chrysostom,[13] among others.

Gen 1:1 Bara is the word created. It does not mean to make or form. It means to feed or make fat. Make fat means the very leanest, the very best. exnihilio – breath from nothing- to make something out of nothing. yatsar – potter, God was the potter.

Gen 1:2 void, chaos and darkness; A picture of Satan himself. Revelation 11 already happened because Satan was cast into the earth before the 2nd verse of Gen, because the 2nd verse is the image of Satan.

The beginning was a picture of the elect (Eph 1:4 – God has chosen who he chooses.); Six days of baptism, six days of a potter; naqiy – innocent. Babies do not go to hell, they are guiltless; The Holy Spirit is the truth.

Gen 1:3 let there be light; that is circumcision.

Gen 1:4-5 God divided the light from darkness – predestination. pro ‘orizo – orizo – the border, the division of light and darkness. God divided the elect to the light. Day 2, divides, set up the flood waters in the second day. The judgment of God was set up. It never rained before the great flood of Noah.

Day 3 brings forth life. v9. 7 is the number of refining fire throughout the entire bible. Look for 7 everywhere; saba — seven – shabuah – to seven oneself. towb – good (stated seven times) – in Gematria you find numbers assigned to the letters. Tet – 9; Vaw – 6; Beit — 17; The fish has to do with 17. !7 is the number of what is good. tohow – means vanity, worthless.

Righteous in Hebrew = 204 = 12 (church) x 17 (good). Gen 1:20 fifth day – the fish has to do two things: 5 and with 153 and 17 because it is said it is good.

Gen 1:20-21 the nun is called the fish or the heir. The value is 50, on the 5th day the fish were created. Kosmos means orderly arrangement. J.3.16 – world = kosmos. Romans 8:17  a child of a man is his heir. (Joint-heirs = 1071 or 7 x 153) the value of the joint heirs, the fish 1073

John 21:3 Peter goes fishing, (v6) cast the net on the right side of the ship and ye shall find. Draw (helko) same as in verse 44. Peter catches 153 fish. (v21) number 153 is extremely important. 7×153 = joint -heirs and the fish is the heir which lives (baby) in the mother womb 40×7. On that day with Peter how many apostles were fishing? (v2) 1 Simon Peter, 2 Thomas, 3 Nathanael, sons of Zebedee 4 James and 5, John, and two others 6,7 = 7: (7×153) an orderly arrangement.

Fish – 5th day the number 5, 50. Remember good = 17. Add 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10 + 11 + 12 + 13 + 14 + 15 + 16 + 17 = 153, 153 is a triangular number.

Factorial 3; 3! is called 3 factorial.

1! = 1 = 1
2! = 1*2 = 2
3! = 1*2*3 = 6
4! = 1*2*3*4 = 24
5! = 1*2*3*4*5 = 120
Total 153

The sons of God in Hebrew = 153. 7 times God speaks of the sons of God. Number 5 is extremely important (the nun); Mem = 40, 4 is the number of maturity. 40 weeks in the womb 40 x7, 4 is the number of God judgment sword, famine, pestilence, and beast. The baby is in the womb 40 weeks, 40×7. Noah means rest and he was the 10th from Adam. Multiple of 10|100|1000 reduces back down to the number, 0 was considered holy.

Lev 26:18 7x more for your sins; First judgment was famine -7x; v21 – plagues — pestilence-7x; v24 – sword (3rd judgment) 7x for your sins; v29 – they eat their children. The scattering – the beast (4th judgment) 7×4: The judgment of God is baptism.

153 miracles of Jesus recorded in the scriptures. 17×9 = 153. 9 is the number of repentance and 17 is the number for what is good. 50 has to do with the gentile church (5); Eve = 19; bnh (build) means to obtain children. = 57 = 3×19: 19 the number Eve, 3 the number of the trinity. This is God in you, the hope of glory. 5 has to do with the heirs of the kingdom of God.

Remember 7, 50 and 17.

Lev 25:1 3 6 years, (v4) 7th year a Sabbath of rest. (v5) year of rest. (v8) 7 Sabbaths of years = 49 years.

Passover – Pentecost (feast of Weeks or feast of sevens) 7 sets of 7 weeks and on the 50th day was Pentecost – the heirs of God received the truth (the Holy Spirit) on the 50th day. (v9) 10th day of the 7th month in the 50th year, what is the 10th day of 7th month? It is the Day of Atonement; the days of sevens: 7 is the number of refinement. Israel left Egypt at Passover. 50 days later they went to Mt Sinai and received the law of God. God gave His laws to His heirs, His FISH!

153 is a number in love with itself – Narcissistic number

Did you know that a number can be in love with itself?

Can numbers be narcissistic? As a matter of fact, yes they can be.

What is a narcissistic number? It is a number that is the sum of its own digits when each digit is raised to the power of the number of digits.

There is a deep link between the symbol of Christ as the Fish/Fisherman, the Sacrifice, the Passover (153), the Covenant (612= 4 x 153), and the Net (1224 = 2 x 612) in John 21:11 that caught the 153 fish. The Number 153 is the seventeeth triangular number, hence also is the sum of the integers from 1 to 17:

The Number 153 appears explicitly in John 21.10, and implicitly in the values of the words used (side = 153, net = 1224). It has many interesting properties. For example:

153 = 1 + 2 + 3 + … + 16 + 17 = Sum(17)

153 = 1! + 2! + 3! + 4! + 5!

References about number 153 can be found in the New Testament, where in the net Simon Peter drew from the Sea of Tiberias held 153 fishes. Some of the interesting properties of number 153 published in [1] are:

Curious properties of number 153:

  • It is the smallest number which can be expressed as the sum of cubes of its digits:

153 = 13 + 53 + 33

  • It is equal to the sum of factorials of number from 1 to 5:

153 = 1! + 2! + 3! + 4! + 5!

  • The sum of digits of 153 is a perfect square:

1 + 5 + 3 = 9 = 32

  • The sum of aliquot divisors of 153 is also a perfect square:

1 + 3 + 9 + 17 + 51 = 81 = 92

Aliquot divisors of a number are all the divisors of that number excluding the number itself but including 1. It is seen that the sum of aliquot divisors of 153 is the square of the sum of the digits of 153.

  • On adding the number 153 to its reverse,504 is obtained, whose square is the smallest square which can be expressed as the product of two different non-square numbers which are reverse of one another:

153 + 351 = 504

5042 = 288 x 882

  • It can be expressed as the sum of all integers from 1 to 17. In other words, 153 is the 17th triangular number. Since reverse of 153, i.e. 351 is also a triangular number, 153 can be termed as a reversible triangular number.
  • Number 153 is also a Harshad number(also called Niven number), i.e. it is divisible by the sum of its own digits:

153 / (1 + 5 + 3) = 17

Since reverse of 153, i.e. 351 is also a Harshad number(or Niven Number), 153 can be termed as a reversible Harshad number(or reversible Niven Number).

  • It can be expressed as the product of two numbers formed from its own digits:

153 = 3 * 51

Note that the digits used in multipliers are same as in product.

  • The number 135, which is formed by rearranging the digits of 153, can be expressed as:

135 = 11 + 32 + 53

  • The sum of all divisors of 153 is 234.

1 + 3 + 9 + 17 + 51 + 153 = 234

The product of aliquot divisors of 153 is 23409:

1 * 3 * 9 * 17 * 51 = 23409

Note that the product of aliquot divisors of 153 contain the sum of all divisors of 153 juxtaposed:

23409 = 234:09

234 = Sum of all divisors of 153

09 = Square root of the sum of aliquot divisors of 153.

  • When the cubes of the digits of any number, that is, a multiple of 3 are added, and then this process is repeated, the final result is 153, where the process ends because 153 = 13 + 53 + 33

For example: Take the number 108

13 + 03 + 83 = 513 and 53 + 13 + 33 = 153

So, the number 108 reaches 153 in two cycles and it can be represented as

108®513®153

A detailed study of all numbers up to 105reveals that all numbers which are multiple of 3 and are less than 105 reach 153 (after the repeated process of summing the cubes of digits is done) in maximum 14 cycles. However, maximum 13 cycles is required for all numbers, which are multiple of 3 and are less than 10,000.

The smallest number, which requires 13 cycles to reach 153, is 177, i.e.,

Table 1 indicates the smallest numbers, which reach 153 in cycles from 1 to 14.

  • The smallest number to reach 153 in 16 cycles will be more than 1061042524005486968, so not advisable to try it. But you can certainly try to find the smallest number reaching 153 in 15 cycles and check your answer by clicking here.
  • 10 + 51 + 32 = 1 * 5 * 3
  • If p(x) represents the number of primes up to x, then the following holds good:

p (153) = p (15) * 3!
